The Berlin Stegreif Orchester is making a guest appearance with its improvised music project "#bechange" at the initial reception centre for asylum seekers in Trier.
Under the patronage of Minister Katharina Binz from the Rhineland-Palatinate Ministry for Family Affairs, Women, Culture and Integration, the non-profit organisation Kulturkarawane, the initial reception centre for asylum seekers in Trier and the Berlin Stegreif Orchester are inviting people to a very special kind of cultural and musical exchange. As part of the #bechange series, the Stegreif Orchester is organising workshops with six professional orchestral musicians in all 16 federal states. Here they will try out a variety of ways to develop energy, make water sound and create equal opportunities. No two workshops are the same: the cooperating institution, the workshop participants and the topics that concern local people determine the respective focus. The focus is always on a playful, joyful and artistic approach.
Over the course of four workshop days, an intercultural musical improvisation project by residents of the AfA Trier and the artists of the Stegreif Orchestra.
