Moving culture
24 March - 15:00 - 20:00
KultKom, Young Men's House Eupen (BE)

Invitation to the cultural conference „Moving Culture 2026“

How can we rethink culture in public spaces and develop it further together? Under the motto „Together. Networked. Sustainable.“ we cordially invite you to the conference Moving culture on 24 March 2026, 15:00-20:00 hrs ins Young Men's House Eupen (KultKom) in.

The event brings together cultural professionals, project developers, representatives from administration and organisations as well as companies to exchange ideas, gather inspiration and get culture moving. Together, we will also take a look beyond the Greater Region: three exciting guest projects will present their approaches and provide insights into innovative practical examples.

Included are:

Max Gruson & Jordi Möllering

Max Gruson is a theatre maker and creative developer from the Netherlands, Jordi Möllering from the theatre group De Eenzamen in Hasselt is a theatre maker and bicycle courier. Both are working on the analogue project „6 letters to the end of the world” in which Jordi delivers letters worldwide by bicycle: using only muscle power.

Patricia Yasmine Graf

Patricia Yasmine Graf works as a freelance artist and designer in Aachen. In her project „9 Months - 9 Countries - 9 Projects“, she creates a participatory urban art project in each country on her journey - from large-scale murals and small interventions in urban spaces to workshops with schools or collaborations with local organisations.

Philipp Pollaert - WE R Solar

How can events be organised in a climate-friendly and mobile way? Philipp Pollaert shows how sustainable energy supply and innovative mobility solutions can work together in the event sector. He combines many years of experience in culture, festival organisation and transnational project work with sound expertise in sustainable project management.

Afterwards, all participants will have the opportunity to actively contribute their own topics: In an interactive World Café format - a moderated exchange method with changing small groups at themed tables - we develop ideas together on how cultural cooperation in the Greater Region can be networked even more closely. One Panel discussion rounds off the programme and opens up an informal exchange over music and snacks.
