On 25 November 2022, Karo Lynn from Leipzig released her third studio album "a line in my skin", marking a real musical break from its predecessor "Outgrow".
The feather-light acoustic guitars and lively indie beats have given way to eternally floating guitar melodies and cosy, dark synth atmospheres - a perfect place for Karo Lynn's powerful, expressive voice. Between Daughter, Ben Howard and The National, the Leipzig songwriter moves from slow-motion ballads to pop songs full of musical gems to powerful mid-tempo numbers in new musical terrain - but with the same intensity.

Michaels musical journey began around 10 years ago. Before moving to Los Angeles for two years in 2016, he sold over 3000 CDs in Europe and played more than 300 shows. Once in the States, he relaunched under the name "Native". In collaboration with songwriter friends, he wrote and recorded new songs that have been released since 2017. Among other things, his song "Ocean" reached over 15 million streams on YouTube, the EP "Departure" was listened to almost 3 million times on Spotify and the two singles "Don't Forget Me" and "Guilty" were used in the American TV show "Shameless". In the following years, he released further EPs and singles and toured the living rooms and clubs of Europe. Michael Benjamin used the past two years intensively for songwriting again and wrote almost 30 new songs. Once again, it felt like a new start. A new start with a proper debut album after all these years. This is due to be released in spring 2023 - after a few single releases
