Torch tour through the special exhibition "Tell me more - pictures tell stories"
In cooperation with the City Museum, Kulturkarawane is offering torch tours through the special exhibition "Tell Me More - Pictures Tell Stories" exclusively for the Sterntaler Christmas Market.
Sneak through a dark museum at night and let the light of a torch wander over statues and paintings: Accompanied by museum guide Hanna Verena Knopp, children and adults can go on a discovery tour through the special exhibition and illuminate the city's history in an unusual way. Torches are provided by the museum.
The approximately 30-minute torchlight tour ends in the cloister, from where you can watch the light show together at the end.
Admission is free for children up to the age of 14. A free children's ticket must be booked for children.
Duration: Guided tour including light show approx. 50min
Admission also entitles you to visit the Sterntaler Christmas market on the day of the tour.

The special exhibition "Tell Me More - Pictures tell stories"
The exhibition at the Stadtmuseum uses 100 paintings to examine the art of storytelling through images, from antiquity to the present day. It sheds light on the hidden messages and intentions of the artists behind the paintings and their significance for the respective period. The exhibition covers various painting genres and eras, from genre depictions and portraits to landscapes and religious art. There are interactive elements for visitors of all ages.
