The WeltB\u00fcrgerFr\u00fchst\u00fcck brings for one and a half decades<\/strong> people and cultures come together in the heart of Trier to enjoy a special programme of lively sounds, dance and talks<\/strong> to experience. In 2022, more than a dozen groups from the region will be there to show everyone what it means to be a global citizen. A wide-ranging stage programme consisting of various music acts and spoken word contributions from all over the world invites you to linger. There will also be great Hands-on activities for young and old<\/strong>as well as some culinary surprises to discover!<\/p>\n\n\n\n

A special feature this year is the Rhineland-Palatinate-wide campaign for the Earth Overshoot Day<\/strong> (German: Erd\u00fcberlaststag). With a campaign pavilion, organisations and associations from Trier also draw attention to their work and the major topic of Resource utilisation and waste <\/strong>attentive. There are exciting interactive offers and information opportunities throughout the day.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

This year, we are also cooperating with the musicrlpwomen network for the first time. The network, which was founded in 2021 musicRLPwomen<\/strong><\/a>*<\/strong> aims to draw attention to the gender imbalance in the music industry, take countermeasures and offer spaces for all FLINTA* from the fields of art, culture, business, media and technology. The network will inform you about its activities at the Weltb\u00fcrgerfr\u00fchst\u00fcck. A free network meeting will also take place on the same day.
