We stand for lively and colourful cultural events in Trier, the Moselle Valley and the Greater Region.
In addition to our Kuka solidarity concept, the sustainable orientation of our events is also one of our highest principles: We examine the term "sustainability" from all angles and establish it as the basis for all our ideas, projects and events.
An important cooperation partner here is the Local Agenda 21 Trier e.V.who, with their "Guidelines for sustainable events" has laid a foundation for the planning of all events in Trier.
In our planning processes, we consistently follow the 3R rule (Reduce, Reuse, Recycle) and are approaching a "Zero-waste strategy". We are aware that the best way to protect the environment is NOT to organise events, but we believe that the glow in the eyes of our young and old visitors does not stop climate change, but it does make our (social) world a little bit better. We therefore try to harmonise our environmental awareness with our penchant for exceptional, atmospheric lighting and "good sound" by using energy-efficient lighting and technology planned down to the smallest detail.
We organise all events in a climate-neutral way by making voluntary compensation payments to projects selected by "atmosfair". For us, "Think globally, act locally" has also proved its worth, which is why we double the amount and donate the other half to local, non-profit organisations that primarily support the social aspect of sustainability.
If you would like to find out more about the (calculated) CO2 emissions of the individual events and the project-related compensation payments, please get in touch with our contact person Linda directly:
By sustainable planning, we not only mean acting in a climate and environmentally friendly way, but also creating an environment in which EVERYONE welcome is. We therefore cooperate with a wide range of social organisations and are always happy to receive suggestions for cooperation and planning as well as ideas of all kinds.
We look forward to exchanging ideas with you!
We are committed to planning, organising and implementing our events in line with the global sustainability goals:

Vegetarian catering: Promotion of healthy and sustainable nutrition through cooperation with local caterers.
Food Sharing: Avoiding food waste by cooperating with Food Sharing.
Co-operation with FLINTA network*: Supporting gender equality and promoting the participation of women, lesbians, intersex, non-binary, trans and agender people in cultural processes.
Solar energy for events: Our events for up to 250 people are powered by solar energy, which reduces energy consumption and promotes sustainable energy sources.
Energy-efficient lighting: The use of modern, energy-efficient lighting reduces electricity consumption and minimises the ecological footprint.
Barrier-free access: We ensure that our events are accessible for people with disabilities by providing lawn grates for wheelchair users, LED strips, audio transcriptions on screens and blindFind boxes.
Intercultural exchange: Our formats promote dialogue between different cultures and help to reduce inequalities.
Co-operation with Lokale Agenda 21 Trier e.V.: Planning and realisation of sustainable events in cooperation with local partners.
Central event locations: Good public transport connections, combined tickets and the use of bicycles promote sustainable mobility.
Car sharing: We use car sharing instead of our own vehicles to reduce emissions.
3R principle (Reduce, Reuse, Recycle): Every planning decision is made with resource conservation and waste avoidance in mind.
Upcycling workshops: At our events, we offer upcycling workshops where, for example, Christmas decorations are made from recycled materials.
Drinking water dispenser: By using drinking water dispensers, we dispense with disposable plastic bottles.
CO2 compensation: We calculate the CO2 emissions of our events and make voluntary compensation payments to reduce our ecological footprint.
Velo Stage: One of our innovative stages is the Velostage, a cargo bike with a lightweight stage and sound technology that is powered exclusively by solar technology. This stage is powered by bicycles and significantly reduces CO2 emissions. The Velo Stage places a publicly effective focus on the topic of sustainability and makes climate-friendly energy generation visible.
Diverse co-operations: We work with numerous partners to jointly promote the SDGs and make our events sustainable and inclusive.
