To all the artists, sponsors, supporters and helping hands who once again made the Melodica Acoustic Festival 2024 an unforgettable experience for the region!

The Melodica Festival – Greater Region Edition bringt das Format 2026 zurück nach Trier – erstmals mit einem klaren Fokus auf die Großregion. Veranstaltungsort ist die TUFA Trier, wo für zwei Tage ein intimer, atmosphärischer Konzert- und Begegnungsraum entsteht.

Der große Saal der TUFA wird mit einem besonderen Lichtdesign zur Bühne für Nähe, Austausch und gemeinsames Erleben. Ergänzend entsteht im Außenbereich mit dem Flying Grass Carpet ein offener Ort zum Verweilen, Austauschen und Ankommen.

Neustart statt Stillstand: Nach einer Pause kehrt das Melodica Festival zurück – frischer, nachhaltiger und näher an den musikalischen Schätzen unserer Region. Seit 2024 kanntet ihr uns im historischen Frankenturm. Doch internationale Reisewege, ökologische Verantwortung und fehlende Barrierefreiheit haben uns zum Umdenken bewegt.

2026 schlagen wir ein neues Kapitel auf – in der TUFA Trier. Mit Wohnzimmeratmosphäre, magischem Licht und ganz viel Liebe zur Musik bleibt das Melodica-Gefühl erhalten. Draußen lädt unser „Flying Grass Carpet“ zum Entspannen und Begegnen ein.

Warum in die Ferne schweifen? In unserer Großregion warten großartige Talente aus Rheinland‑Pfalz, Saarland, Luxemburg and Lothringen darauf, gesehen zu werden. Genau hier setzen wir an – regional verwurzelt, international inspiriert.

Der Eintritt bleibt freiwillig, damit wirklich alle dabei sein können. Spenden sind vor Ort oder digital möglich.

Admission & Donations

Admission to the Melodica Festival is based on the donation-based principle "Pay What You Want", with the aim of making culture a low-threshold experience. You donate an amount that is reasonable for you and in return experience the festival with all its artists.

Approach & accessibility

Approach: The Frankenturm is located at Dietrichstraße 4 in the middle of the city centre. The ground in the immediate vicinity is cobblestone.

Accessibility:

There is a rear entrance at ground level for wheelchair users to access the location.
There are no disabled toilets on site. However, all toilets are at ground level and must be used with an accompanying person.
The programme takes place on the 2nd floor. This can only be reached by stairs. Nevertheless, we will provide a video transmission to the ground floor as an alternative.
Info for highly sensitive people: We work WITHOUT stroboscopic effects in our lighting technology. However, we do use a mirror ball whose light refractions could disturb you. Please ask our technicians, they will take this into consideration.

Catering

Catering: The bar is located on the 1st floor. We will display all available drinks on the ground floor, which you can order from the admission staff and will be brought to you.

Animals

Animals: Are generally not allowed unless they are companion animals, for which we will of course provide a bowl of water.
