VOLUNTARY ENTRY (recommended 15€) will be charged on site.

Together with the "AG Culture of the Greater Region" we would like to introduce you to the boundless musical diversity of our neighbouring countries and stand up for an open Europe of diversity.

The Walloon musician Antoine Flipo began his musical career with ten years of training in piano and classical music at the Académie de Tournai. He later studied oriental music under the direction of accordionist Jean Baptiste Lison, which had a great influence on his work. Antoine's career began with the duo Glass Museum, which he co-founded with Martin Gregoire after winning the Tremplin Dour competition in 2016. He also has a degree in bioengineering from Gembloux and combines scientific precision with his artistic ambitions.

Antoine Flipo took his first steps as a soloist and presents a new project. At the interface of neoclassical music and electro. By questioning the nature of the piano, he offers compositions that push the boundaries of the instrument. Inspired in his creative process by the work of Nils Frahm, Four Tet, Binkbeats or even Max Cooper, his pieces sound like a minimalist echo of the fiery compositions of the duo he forms with drummer Martin Grégoire in Glass Museum.

At the opening, we present the winners of our Young Talent Contest.

The concert is part of our series "Greater Region Music Vibes
