NuBreezeProject (Soul Rap) - 18:00
Porta Supporta (Hip Hop) - 18:55
Porta Supporta - a collective of like-minded people from Trier who have been making music together since 2015. They breathe life into their ideas with all kinds of beats and samples, rap and vocals, drum machines and woodwinds - in the booth and on stage. Each artist brings their own aesthetic to the table, each project is a new creative combination of inspiration and style. In terms of content, they manoeuvre their way through the trials and tribulations of everyday life, but the big questions of existence also find their way onto the tape. Listening to them live means enjoying authentic sounds, eccentric vocals and meeting a company that is as open to everyone as Mama Porta Nigra "herself". On the Flying Carpet, listeners can expect a fusion of Porta Supporta with live instruments that the collective has never presented live in this form before. Such an authentic underground culture can otherwise only be experienced in Trier with civil engineering projects, so don't miss out and have a good time with Porta Supporta.
Them Lights (Electro) - 20:00
"Them Lights" from Luxembourg is a dark tunnel of 80s flashes of reminiscence and modern electronics. Multi-instrumentalist, producer, singer and songwriter Sacha Hanlet moves in a wide range of genres, from pulsating electronics to dark pop and soulful R'n'B.
The Yokel (Folk Rock) - 21:00
The Yokel is a seven-piece band from Metz whose only baggage is their love of music. The band has an informal style that combines modernity, eccentricity and heritage. This is expressed in a mixture of traditional acoustic instruments such as double bass, banjo, violin and trumpets as well as digital keyboards and additional samples. The result is original compositions that fit well into a playlist that brings together artists such as Mumford and Sons, Coldplay, The 1975, The Lumineers, Bruce Springsteen and José Gonzalès. In short: cheerful and rhythmic rock-folk, interspersed with pop elements and English-language songwriting.
