Together with the organisations "Pro Integration e.V." and "Ukrainians in Trier" we present you the Ukrainian band "Mavka". Mavka uniquely combines ethnic variations and original compositions with downtempo, electronic, trance, noise, ambient sound and live looping. The band was founded in 2013 by theatre and film actress Iryna Lazer (singer, composer, performer) and Oleksiy Mikriukov (composer). Taras Lazer (composer, music supervisor) joined the band in 2015. The group is known for the lead singer's special solo live performances and her rich soprano vocals, which she blends into unique polyphony using the complex live looping technique. confirmed
