Two-part workshop together with the Barrier-free celebrations initiative
In the first session, the speakers Franzi and Felix gave us a practical insight into the basics of accessible event planning: „What does accessibility mean in concrete terms, what are the minimum requirements and what are the needs of visitors with different disabilities?“ Using practical examples, they will show you how you can think about and implement accessibility directly in your own structures.
The second session picks up where we left off after the first session: with our own reflections and ideas for implementation. Together with the Barrier-free Celebration Initiative, we will look at questions and practical examples from everyday events. Franzi and Felix will categorise them, answer questions and provide guidance for the next steps.
Even if you didn't take part in the first workshop, we would like to invite you to join us for the second part. Participation is free of charge and the workshop will take place digitally via Zoom.

WHAT IS MOSELPOP?
Our network for event culture. Together with Pop RLP, we want to establish a network between alternative cultural event organisers along the Moselle.
The MoselPop initiative focusses on creative exchange, political and economic representation of interests and public relations work. The aim is to strengthen the situation of cultural organisers in the network in the long term, to establish professional structures and to jointly communicate the economic, touristic and cultural significance of pop music in the Moselle valley. The term “pop music” as defined by our funding organisation “Initiative Musik” is very broad and includes rock, pop, jazz, hip-hop, heavy metal and electronic music.
MoselPop is sponsored by the Initiative Musik and the Rhineland-Palatinate Ministry of Economic Affairs.
YOU ARE CULTURE!
YOUR support is important so that we can continue to offer low-threshold, participative and accessible culture in your region in the future! We want to give you a good time and expand your heart with the common language of music. You can support us in many ways. You can find out exactly how here:
