Music picnic for "a colourful neighbourhood"

Under the patronage of our Head of Cultural Affairs, Mr Markus Nöhl, the treffpunkt am weidengraben e. V. organised a music picnic at a central playground in the district in cooperation with Kulturkarawane. Der Spielplatz „die Acht“ befindet sich auf dem Gelände der gbt (Wohnungsbau und Treuhand AG), die ihn für die Veranstaltung zur Verfügung stellt. Konkret, zwischen den Häusern Am Weidengraben 26 – 36. Die Veranstaltung schafft im Rahmen der Interkulturellen Woche 2024, unter dem Motto „Neue Räume“, innerhalb eines multikulturellen Stadtteils niedrigschwellig einen Rahmen zur interkulturellen Begegnungsmöglichkeit.

Where possible, we make sure to give artists from the neighbourhood a stage in order to tap into the musical resources of the residents. Gemäß dem Motto „Neue Räume“ kann somit auf dem Spielplatz Am Weidengraben ein bereits vorhandener und genutzter Ort als Raum für Begegnungsmöglichkeiten hervorgehoben werden, um Gemeinschaft in Vielfalt sowie Interkulturalität in einer bunten Nachbarschaft leben und gestalten zu können.
