To all artists, exhibitors, sponsors, supporters, partners, sponsors and helping hands who have made the Pink Future Youth Culture Festival 2024 an unforgettable experience for the region!
Pink Future Festival
"By young people for all people!" The youth culture festival PINK FUTURE will take place on 6 and 7 July 2024.
In its second edition, under the patronage of Lord Mayor Wolfram Leibe, the festival invites you to the Palastgarten and Willy-Brandt-Platz in Trier.
Admission to the festival is free!
The festival is organised by young people between the ages of 14 and 20. The team, consisting of 20 people, acts according to the festival's narrative: "We are agents for a life worth living. The future is PINK." They were inspired by the song "Zukunft Pink" by Peter Fox, which says: "All times black, I see the future pink // If you ask me, everything will be fine, my child // Do your thing but don't look for meaning // And what's not there, you have to invent"
The PINK FUTURE Youth Culture Festival, which took place for the first time in September 2023, offers a colourful programme for families and children. With music on a concert stage, AI theatre, skate sessions, graffiti, dance and democracy workshops, the young people have their say and put their vision of the future up for discussion through the festival design. They give regional initiatives a platform, invite Lord Mayor Wolfram Leibe to discuss socially relevant topics and celebrate the unique opportunity to organise a festival that reflects their ideas and interests.
The young people's organisational team is supported at the financial and implementation level by a team of experienced actors from non-profit organisations. The project is organised by Kunstflotte Trier gUG, le filou - Jugendkunstschule Trier, Kulturkarawane gUG and Servicestelle Kulturelle Bildung Rheinland-Pfal

This is the motto of teamGLOBAL, a participatory educational network of young people aged between 16 and 27. We organise workshops and other formats for young people across Germany in which we address the topics of globalisation and sustainability. Our aim is to gain a better understanding of global processes, discuss the consequences of globalisation and help shape the future in a sustainable way. We see ourselves as co-learners at eye level who create a framework for joint learning.
Together with you, we want to talk about the topic of fast fashion. We will analyse the consumption of textiles in the world in a playful way. It is particularly important for us to exchange ideas with you: your opinions, experiences and ideas are a central component of our workshops. Together, we want to develop perspectives on what a fairer world could look like and create visions for the future. You don't need any special prior knowledge! Our aim is to inspire and encourage you to play an active role in shaping a sustainable and just future. Let's shape the world of tomorrow together.
