Cultural Manager:in m|w|d

Project management
  • Independent management and implementation of cultural projects (planning, organisation, implementation, follow-up)
  • Operational coordination between artists, technology, cooperation partners and administration
  • Creation of schedules, flow charts and production documents
  • Collaboration in accounting, documentation and reporting (incl. funding-specific requirements).
 
Project development
  • Development of new formats focussing on culture, sustainability, inclusion, cultural participation and/or European cooperation
  • Research and development of conceptual building blocks for existing and new projects
  • Support with the application process
  • Contributing your own ideas for the further development of the organisation's content
  • Establishing and maintaining collaborations with partners from culture, civil society, education and local authorities
  • Completed studies in cultural management, event management
    management, cultural studies, business administration with a cultural focus
    or comparable qualification
  • First professional experience in the cultural or event sector
  • Confident handling of project and time planning as well as organisational processes
  • Ability to coordinate several projects in parallel
  • Ability to work in a visionary and creative way with the overall team on your own cultural projects in line with the current
    to develop social needs
  • Open-mindedness for sustainable and inclusive cultural practice
  • Confident handling of common Office tools (Google Workspace,
    MS Office)
  • Ability to work in a team, empathy, independent work and hands-on mentality
  • Willingness to work individual evenings and weekends during the summer season
  • Very good written and verbal communication skills are an advantage
  • Class B driving licence (desirable)
  • Working time: 50-75%
  • Work location: Trier, Saarbrücken, remote
  • Initially limited until the end of 2026, an extension is being sought.

Project management
  • Support with the preparation, realisation and
    Follow-up of the offers in the ZusammenSpiel project
  • Communication with participating groups, partner organisations
    and orchestra participants
  • Maintenance of lists, project plans and internal processes
  • Support with documentation and reporting
 
On-site operations
  • Supporting the team at events in Rhineland-Palatinate
    (assembly/dismantling, support, check-in)
  • Contact person for participants and local partners
  • Enrolled student (all disciplines welcome) -
    Cultural management, social work, media, education or similar)
  • Interest in cultural projects, inclusion and social participation
  • Organisational skills and a desire to take responsibility for sub-areas
  • Reliable, structured way of working and enjoy teamwork
  • Friendly, empathetic demeanour in dealing with various target groups
  • Initial experience in cultural work, project work or voluntary work (not a must)
  • Willingness to work occasional evening or weekend shifts
  • Confident use of Office tools (Google Workspace, MS Office)
  • Working hours: 10 - 15 hours/week
  • Work location: Trier, Saarbrücken, remote
