Concert of the Kulturkarawane at Paulusplatz with "Marlena Käthe & LOTA"

With the project "Soundtracks - a journey through the Moselle and Kyl Valley" we will be bringing cultural events directly to the communities along the Moselle and Kyll rivers in autumn 2025 - to places where they provide new impetus and create encounters. The centrepiece is our Stage Majaa mobile stage on an electric cargo bike that is powered by muscle power, an electric motor and solar energy. At several stations aspiring musicians climate-friendly, intergenerational and without traditional infrastructure.

A special partner is the Local Agenda 21 Trierwho, with their project "World distribution game" opens up a playful approach to global issues. An interactive game visualises the distribution of the world's population, wealth, water resources and energy consumption across the continents. Complex figures are thus visualised and brought to life. The aim is not only to impart knowledge, but above all to get people talking - about imbalances, personal impressions and the question: What does the global situation mean for us and what can each of us do?

"Klangspuren" shows how Sustainability and culture inspiring together: musical, playful, participative and full of joie de vivre. We are sending out a strong signal in favour of cultural work of the future, in which ecological responsibility, global justice and cultural participation go hand in hand.

The project is sponsored by Kultursommer Rheinland-Pfalz and is being organised in cooperation with the city of Trier, Local Agenda 21 and Trier University of Applied Sciences.
