Martijn Jansen and Selina Houwing from "Superhallo" use the DJ Frietmachine to test how much rhythm is in your potato. The machine makes your potato dance. And hopefully not just your potato, but you too. The DJ Frietmachine is the liveliest potato installation you've ever seen. The machine observes, weighs, measures and checks whether you are grounded with your potato and in the right connection. If this is the case, the DJ will put a fat(z)ious record on the turntable while you let your potato dance in the hot fat. And at the end it's record ready, fries ready! DJ Frietmachine is the brainchild of Superhallo - Theatre for the Senses, founded in 2008 by Selina Houwing and Martijn Jansen, and known for its interactive sensory installations that invite you to personal adventures.
The "Frittendisco" by DJ Frietmachine takes place in front of the event area and is accessible without a ticket. It's worth bringing your own appetite: crispy chips await you at the end of every record!
