The join-in and experience concert for Wittlich as part of the mosel music festival
Whether standing or sitting, dancing or running, in the middle of it or watching from the outside: Music can be enjoyed in different ways.
The joint concert by Stegreif-Orchester and the Kulturkarawane project „ZusammenSpiel“ is an invitation to rediscover orchestral music. To people who never actually listen to classical music, who like to groove, who want to experience familiar repertoire in a new way. As the audience, you help shape the open space: The Eventum as a concert hall, the auditorium - everything becomes a stage. You can even determine the ticket price yourself.
Two extraordinary musical approaches come together here: professional, improvisational orchestral music and collaborative, inclusive music-making by people from the most diverse backgrounds. Under the programme title „feel:free“, the Eventum in Wittlich becomes an open sound space in which music can be experienced in a new way: free, approachable and full of energy.
No conductor, no sheet music, no chairs: the impromptu orchestra uses the resulting freedom for improvisation and movement. The 30 young international musicians of this Berlin ensemble open up new paths to classical music for themselves and the audience. With recompositions of classical works, Stegreif aims to expand the musical heritage with contemporary trends and enrich it through the artists' various musical influences and origins. Different musical styles from jazz to folk song to techno are also incorporated.
WHAT IS INTERACTION?
Interplay is a new music project in Trier. It brings together people with very different stories: Some were born here, some have lived in Germany for a long time, some have only recently arrived.
What counts here is not where you come from or what language you speak. What counts here is that we meet each other - with openness, curiosity and a love of music. We improvise together, discover new sounds and grow into a colourful, lively community.
