As part of MY URBAN PIANO 2026, we will be presenting Maja’s „Ratte Rosa“ on our stage on 13 September 2026.

Greta, the woman behind the stage name Ratte Rosa, grew up in a village near Karlsruhe and found her creative voice whilst studying Intermedia Design in Trier. Ratte Rosa paints a world of stark contrasts, blending delicate piano melodies with thumping basslines, sorrowful lyrics with furious instrumentals, rats and lace. Through her autobiographical lyrics and cinematic sounds, the artist recounts her life as a woman in a patriarchal society. Without contrived phrases, without flowery language and without sugar-coating the reality of her life.
Tangled up in one’s own identity with the questions ‘who am I, really?’ and ‘what
’That’s what’s been socialised into us,’ she says, cutting straight to the heart of the matter with precision and fury, dissecting her own self piece by piece, writing about slut-shaming, the male gaze, strong friendships, abuse of power and her own invisibility in a world that wasn’t created for her and her sisters.
Anyone looking for a sister who shares their anger, a voice to speak for them when their own goes unheard, and a fist to raise when their own is too weary, will find a home in Ratte Rosa’s music.

Where is the concert?
The concert is at the Palace Gardens in Trier.
The stage is set up on the large meadow.
The meadow is near the Imperial Baths.
There is a pond in front of the meadow.
How do I get to the stage?
The path through the palace gardens is mostly free of steps.
The paths in the park are mostly made of Gravel.
The stage is set Lawn.
The lawn may be uneven.
When it rains, the lawn can be wet and soft.
This can be more difficult for people who use a wheelchair or a walking frame.
Travelling by bus
A nearby stop is: Municipal Library
The walk from the bus stop to the stage
If your bus is coming from the direction of the Stadtbad:
Get on at the bus stop Municipal Library ... The house is dark brown.
Go to on the right.
Walk past the building 25 Weberbach over.
The building is the Municipal Library.
There’s a car park on the left.
Walk past the car park.
After that, there is a path on the left leading towards Imperial Baths.
Take this path.
Follow the path to the Duck pond.
Follow the path along the pond.
About halfway along the route, you’ll come to our stage.
The stage is set up on the lawn next to the pond.
If your bus is coming from the direction of the basilica:
Get on at the bus stop Weberbach from.
Go to left.
In front of the restaurant Fischer's Mathes is a zebra crossing.
Cross at the zebra crossing.
Do it afterwards straight ahead.
A path starts there, leading towards Imperial Baths.
Follow this path to the Duck pond.
Follow the path along the pond.
About halfway along the route, you’ll come to our stage.
The stage is set up on the lawn next to the pond.
Accessible toilets
There is an accessible toilet on the Weberbach.
The toilet is for public use.
There are no steps at the entrance.
The toilet cleans itself.
There is another accessible toilet at the Imperial Baths.
The toilet is in the entrance hall.
You may only use this toilet during the Kaiserthermen’s opening hours.
Travelling by car
There are parking spaces near the Palace Gardens.
There is a car park at the „Weberbach“
The entrance is opposite the „Fischers Mathes“ restaurant. There is a charge for parking.
From there, you’ll reach the palace gardens.
Good to know
The concert will take place outside instead.
The stage is set in a meadow.
When it rains, the ground can become wet and soft.
