Hands-on producing session with producer LISA RIC and Oriol, as part of Trier plays!
In our Producing session for children music becomes an experience. Whether voice, rhythm, movement or sound experiments - children discover how much fun it is to make music themselves.
What happens?
- Children and parents are cordially invited to freely try out what sounds, sings, rattles or grooves
- Together with Oriol from the family music school Astromusician from Trier, who specialises in making music with children, creates little sound stories and musical moments
- The session is designed to be open - child-orientated, low-threshold and full of curiosity about what is being created at the moment
LISA RIC accompanies the session in the background as producer and takes up the children's ideas. She mixes, processes and creates a small soundtrack from voices and sounds - directly on site.
Feel free to bring your own food and drinks. Music makes you hungry. Toilets are located in the immediate vicinity.

About LISA RIC
Music producer, songwriter and music teacher. Her professional career began in 2008 as a songwriter, vocal coach, backing vocalist and producer for her own and third-party projects. Lisa studied Singing/Songwriting B.A. at the Popakademie in Mannheim and graduated with a Master of Arts as an Educating Artist. She has been working in the educational field with children, young people and adults for over a decade.
Musically trained and at home in pop, Lisa's work is strongly influenced by electronic and acoustic elements, which is reflected in her productions.
About ORIOL A. TORRENTS
Oriol A. Torrents is the founder and director of the family-run music school Astromusiker in the centre of Trier. "Our music school is not just a place of instruction, but also a diverse, flexible and open learning environment where students, their families and teachers meet as equals. We work like a social start-up: creatively, with flat hierarchies and many passion projects in the field of music education. Our motto is: Learn to play. Play to learn."
